Brooke is an experienced music producer, engineer, musician, and performer.

Brooke—a Brooklyn-based producer and multi-instrumentalist, has been a part of the New York music scene for several years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Music at Hofstra University. During her college years Brooke began making beats and experimenting with music production when she downloaded a 30-day free trial of Ableton Live. She was instantly hooked to the craft. This led to her study of recording engineering, and mixing engineering. Brooke’s primary instrument was percussion, and during these college years she began performing with local groups all around NYC on percussion, keys, drums, vocals, etc. Currently, you can catch her playing drums with the touring future-funk/R&b group Cool Company.

In August 2020 Brooke released an album as a solo artist/producer under the stage name DOCTOR IMPOSTER. The album features what Brooke does best: creative works showcasing production skills, collaborations with other singers and rappers, interesting sonic landscapes and arrangements, and quirky beats. Her highly-anticipated follow-up album drops in 2025.

Always striving for perfection, Brooke continues to work on her craft with each indie artist she produces for. She plays most of the instruments, arranges, records, and mixes it herself. Brooke prides herself on her professionalism and ease working with others in the studio. Her passion and love for music always serves as the driving force.
